The Berlin-based initiative recreategoods has set itself the task of paying homage to existing material and simplifying the design of already manufactured clothing items using artificial intelligence. New products and collections are created from so-called usable, unsold goods. A model that enables generative design guided by and based on the molded source material. In this way, locally stored deadstock is integrated into future collections. Conventional design processes are enriched. Designers decide quickly and easily which proposals to implement. In this way, recreategoods enables the reuse of materials and saves on production emissions. Industrial upcycling is realized with local partners.
