In collaboration with Vogue Business and eBay, Fashion Council Germany is introducing ‘METAMORPHOSIS – dialogues about change’ powered by eBay, a new talk series as a part of Berlin Fashion Week. The series features international and national experts in circular economy and the fashion industry, engaging in dialogue about the various facets and essential transformations needed in our industry. The discussions take place at central locations in Berlin.

Carina Bischof is an activist with great expertise in upcycling. She is chairwoman of the board of the association and in charge for the management and projects like the fairknallt platform, the 1 Hour T-Shirt campaign and the podcast “We are Fashion Revolution”. Before Herebrt started his career in the fashion industry, he studied geography in Austria and Stockholm. He then moved to Berlin, where he started doing PR for brands like Weekday, Cheap Monday, Monki, Stine Goya, Wood Wood and Henrik Vibskov.
In 2011 he started his journey as buyer and creative director for Voo Store Berlin. Since 2019 he works at Highsnobiety, where he is VP Creative and Buying and takes care of collaborations and their private label Highsnobiety HS05. They publish a magazine and books, create content and strategies for brands and do matchmaking to bring brands and suppliers together.

Julia studied the technical side of garment making and fine arts in Mannheim (Germany) before moving to Antwerp (Belgium). At the Royal Academy of Fine Arts she then graduated with a Master degree in 2020 , while working as an assistant at Alexis Gautier in 2018, Christian Wijnants in 2020 and Givenchy in 2021. In 2022 she and Nico Verhaegen founded their brand Milk of Lime together and had their debut runway show during BFW in July 2023.

He co-founded Withfounders, a seed accelerator that invests in innovative start-ups, and has held managerial roles such as Vice-President of Corporate Sales at Rodale International, an American multimedia publishing company, and CEO and General Manager of Lycos Italy, the Italian subsidiary of the German multimedia group Bertelsmann's internet portal. As Chief of Innovation & Strategy at The Foresight Institute, Niamh Peren spearheads the Prizes, Fellowship and co-directs the AI Safety Grants. Known for her groundbreaking efforts as an environmental activist, Peren led her government petition 'Tino Pai Aotearoa/ Thumbs Up New Zealand' to legislation, now a lived experience. She advises organizations on future strategy and environmental impact, and is an invited keynote speaker on these issues in forums such as the Chanel Earth Month Speaker Series. Niamh holds a Master of Science in Strategic Design & Management from The New School in NYC, where she was a two-time Fellow.

Nina Knaudt began her career in the fashion industry with an internship at a PR agency representing luxury brands such as Cartier and Etro. After graduating with a degree in Media Management she completed a Master's degree in Fashion and Design Management at SDA Bocconi in Milan. Nina then worked at Galeries Lafayette in Berlin as Head of Marketing and Communications before she and Rianna founded RIANNA + NINA in 2014. Today, the brand is represented in A-list boutiques, has a flagship store at the Palais Royal in Paris and at the Marbella Club Hotel, and is featured in the international press and on TV shows.
Patrik de Jong
Creative Director I Artificial Rome
Patrik is the Artistic Director of Artificial Rome. It’s not always the easiest job when you’re dealing with a bunch of individualists and – let’s face it – nerds. Astonishingly, he manages to keep up
with this matter-of-fact feature and still works as an excellent designer with an ingenious output.
In 2004 he teamed up with Dirk Hoffmann, they would cofound Artificial Rome in 2014. Since then, the team has, in successive years, received many awards in prestigious competitions including the Cannes Lions, the Art Directors Club, the Red Dot Award and the New York Festivals. Patrik has been a speaker at the OFFF Festival, Resonate, ADC Conference, Playground Festival and was Guest Lecturer at the HAW,
FH Lübeck and the Miami Ad School.
Prof. Tutia Schaad

Prof. Tutia Schaad studied at HEAA in Geneva and Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weissensee. She gained experience at GIVENCHY Haute-Couture in Paris before co-founding the fashion label PERRET SCHAAD in 2009. The brand became renowned in Germany, showcasing at prestigious venues and dressing numerous celebrities. In 2018, she opened her design studio, offering fashion consultancy and pursuing new challenges in design, theater, and dance across Europe and Japan. Since 2018, she has been a professor at Macromedia University in Berlin and became Head of the Fashion Department in 2022. Her recent project, The Twins, integrates sustainability and digital craftsmanship and was showcased as an NFT-backed virtual presentation.
Sarah Blank
Consultant I Löning – Human Rights & Responsible Business
Sarah has experience in implementing human rights due diligence within multinational corporations, specifically in the textile and food retail sectors. She has worked with companies such as Hugo Boss and Lidl International and has been involved in projects related to living wages, grievance mechanisms in the textile industry, and social auditing. Before joining Löning, Sarah managed projects in the retail sector to implement the requirements of the German Supply Chain Act (LkSG). She holds a M.A. in Political Science with a focus on International and European Politics from the University of Bamberg. Sarah is fluent in German and English.

Sarah Ditty is a Senior Programme Manager at the Laudes Foundation working to strengthen labour rights across industry transformation. She previously led Fashion Revolution's Fashion Transparency Index, and advised the EU, UK Government, and UN on apparel industry sustainability. Sarah was named one of London’s 1,000 most influential people by the Evening Standard in 2019. Her commitment to a just transition is not restricted to her work. She's also Chair of the Expert Advisory Panel at EarthPercent, supporting the climate movement.

Scott Lipinski has been holding the position of Chief Executive Officer at Fashion Council Germany (FCG) since December 2017. After studying business administration, he began his career at Accenture, followed by positions at renowned German fashion companies such as Wunderkind, Michalsky and lala Berlin. At Fashion Council Germany his goal is to establish German fashion as a cultural and economic asset and to generate more recognition and attention for the industry, both politically and culturally. As one of the founders of the European Fashion Alliance (EFA), he is committed to establishing an international network within the fashion industry.
